About the Role

We have an opportunity for a highly respected and experienced Casual Community Support Worker to join our Disabilities Services team working at our Respite House. You will support and enable people with a disability whilst staying in short term accommodation. In this role you will:

• Have the capacity to work over night shifts at our Respite House, including weekends.
• Be experienced in medication assistance.
• Be aware of Restrictive Practices within an NDIS framework.
• Have the ability to adapt to differing client needs and circumstances.
• Provide engaged goal-focused and capacity building assistance
• Provide personal care and support with daily living such as meal preparation and cleaning

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Ability to build rapport with families
• Certificate III is desirable
• A current CPR and First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
• Have a current Drivers licence
• Current Blue Card
• Ability to obtain a Yellow Card
