About the Position

The Community Engagement program delivers best practice marketing, fundraising and engagement strategies that promote the CatholicCare Victoria brand, deepen supporter relationships, inspire philanthropic giving and contribute to social change.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of fundraising activities with a focus on direct mail and digital appeals, regular giving, community fundraising and other individual giving programs. The Fundraising Manager will also be responsible for leading a small team.

Specifically, the position is responsible for:

  • Manage the planning, execution, optimisation and evaluation of fundraising activity across individual giving, campaigns and appeals, community fundraising and events.
  • Provide leadership, supervision and coaching to Fundraising Coordinator and Donor Relations Administrator positions.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop fundraising initiatives, key messages and communications that support multi-channel application and cut through in the marketplace.
  • Develop and manage fundraising revenue and expense budget to ensure adequate resourcing to meet revenue targets

To be considered for this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in Fundraising, Philanthropy, Marketing or related field
  • Substantial experience in individual giving, campaigns and appeals, community fundraising and events
  • Experience of fundraising in the Church or Diocesan sector
