About the role:

CENSW is seeking a pro-active Executive Assistant / Office Manager who will be responsible for the operational management of the office, including:

  • CEO and Board resourcing, minute taking, diary management and travel bookings
  • Providing administrative support to the CEO, Board and operational staff
  • Maintaining Company online presentation, coordination and administration of website, newsletter and annual report.
  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints and liaising with suppliers and stakeholders as required
  • Conducting Orientation for new staff
  • Supporting the marketing and fundraising initiatives and events of CENSW

This is a 1 year contract (Maternity Relief) role reporting to the CEO on Executive Assistant activities and Operations Manager for the Administration Officer duties. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative activities of CENSW and attend fortnightly meetings with the Operations Manager, and weekly meetings with the CEO.

Skills and experience:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or vocational qualification

Experience:

  • Extensive experience with administrative processes and office procedure
  • Strong office administration skills including: diary and event management, managing data, mail outs, letter drafting and working with Boards and taking minutes
  • Developing newsletters and other communication tools
  • Some experience in marketing and/or fundraising is desirable

Skills-essential:

  • Ability to work in a co-operative and professional manner with others
  • Capacity to be self-organised and self-motivated to work at high pace
  • Strong written, oral, time management and communication skills
  • Demonstrate high competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and software usage such as database skills

Desirable:

  • Competency with Adobe In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Wordpress and Website development
