Reporting to the Manager, People & Organisational Development, this is a rare opportunity to work collaboratively in a creative and values-driven team, to partner with senior managers across the business in the development of future-focused organisational development and learning initiatives that will drive change and support our strategic outcomes.

THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A CHANGEMAKER:

The Business Partner role is newly created to highlight the key focus organisational and professional development will have as we work to deliver our strategic outcomes.

This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a challenging role that will allow you to apply the full breadth of your professional knowledge to an organisation that is doing work that truly impacts the lives of others.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for such things as:

  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team to understand organisational development needs; developing targeted initiatives that support both organisational and team priorities.
  • Developing and implementing an organisational development and learning framework that supports key outcomes and deliverables within the CEHL Strategic Plan.
  • Managing a diverse range of programs and initiatives based on organisational needs—spanning leadership, talent identification/acquisition/retention, succession, engagement, and health & wellbeing culture.
  • Developing Diversity & Inclusion programs to support our framework and implement relevant learning across the organisation.
  • Developing and implementing a CEHL Competency Framework incorporating Leadership Development to support the Performance Management framework.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A contemporary outlook, bringing a blend of OD & L&D focused experience with a track record in the design and delivery of organisational development initiatives with measurable results.
  • Experience developing and facilitating effective learning programs both face-to-face and virtually, leveraging technology where possible, to meet organisational needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to build and sustain professional relationships, influence others, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience improving service delivery and practice.
  • Excellent communication skills; personable and collaborative working style and able to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business or Psychology and proven experience at a similar level.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

This role is a permanent, ongoing position operating in a part-time, 0.8 capacity. We promote a flexible work approach both in-office and remote. We will be relocating to a new fit-for-purpose location in Carlton by the end of 2022.
