Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is seeking a Policy and Research Manager to join us and play a critical role in advocacy, policy development and research to ensure governments, communities and families, are empowering children and young people with disability to fully exercise their rights and aspirations.

The Policy and Research Manager will bring a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing children and young people with disability and their families and their experience in people management to drive CYDA’s strategic goals.

CYDA is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years, with an ambitious strategic plan which focuses on:

  • Driving inclusion
  • Creating equitable life pathways and opportunities
  • Leading changes in community attitudes and aspirations
  • Supporting young people to take control
  • Calling out discrimination, abuse, and neglect.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Policy and Research Manager will join a dedicated leadership team and a committed and values-based staff group.

Work Type: Fixed-term until December 2022, Full-time 38 hours per week

Salary: $108,799 to $113,062 plus generous salary packaging
