Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has an exciting new opportunity for someone to work directly with our staff to provide inclusion and accessibility support along with providing the organisation with guidance and resources to enrich the capacity and capability of the organisation to implement high quality inclusive practices.

Our vision is that children and young people with disability living in Australia are valued and living empowered lives with equality of opportunity; and our purpose is to ensure governments, communities, and families, are empowering children and young people with disability to fully exercise their rights and aspirations.

This part-time role will provide inclusion and accessibility support to our staff. It will also support CYDA’S external engagements and events to ensure they are fully accessible and inclusive. The role will also directly supervise a Youth Trainee employed by CYDA.

Please note this position is only available for those who identify as a person with disability as allowed under ‘special measures’ of the Victorian Equal Opportunity Act 2010.

Therefore, this position is only open to people with a lived experience of disability.

Work type: Fixed-term until 30 June 2022, Part-time (25 hours per week)

Salary: $73,000 to $78,000 (pro-rata) plus generous salary packaging

Location: Collingwood, Victoria
