About the role

This is your opportunity to join our passionate Fundraising, Marketing and Communication Group and make a difference! You will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing donor engagement programs for all individual giving donors across Queensland.

You will develop and manage the execution of CCQ’s strategies which retain and expand relationships with existing donors and acquires new donors. This will be achieved via our Direct Mail, Acquisition, Regular Giving, Mid Value and donor care programs as wells as assisting with the ongoing identification of prospects for the Major Gifts and Gifts in Wills programs. With a strong focus on personalisation and adhering to donor communication preferences, you will be adept at working across multiple channels including direct mail, digital and telemarketing.

An important element of the role will be fostering positive partnerships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver outstanding donor experiences to surprise and delight - thereby increasing loyalty, retention and lifetime value. Integrated communication and relationship building skills, developing annual program plans/budgets and reporting on these in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Philanthropy and Supporter Experience will also be requirements of this role.

This is a Fixed-term Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) for a 12 month Parental Leave Cover. This role is based in our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane.

About you

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated team leader with strong experience in fundraising especially in the area of direct marketing and donor/client stewardship. Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a similar field is required.

You will be experienced in delivering integrated Direct Mail programs and have the ability to plan, execute and report on all direct marketing and donor activities. Previous roles will have seen you successfully lead multiple campaigns while cultivating productive relationships and growing your programs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with your ability to manage projects/budgets and ability to act up as required, will see you succeed in this role.

CCQ has a Leadership Capability Framework which outlines the necessary capabilities of leaders for the four different leadership levels: Executive (CEO and General Managers), Senior Managers, Managers, and Frontline Managers (Team Leaders and Senior Coordinators).
