As the Desktop and System Administrator you will be responsible for the implementation, administration, maintenance, monitoring, and user support of Cancer Council Queensland’s (CCQ) desktop, server, cloud, data and communications infrastructure.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer-focused first and third level device, infrastructure, application, and end-user support and additionally will be a mentor and conduit for the first and second level team members within the Information Technology Team.
This role is permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane.
This role will be required to travel to CCQ sites.
To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, you will be professional and customer service focused when interacting with staff and visitors.
You will have a good work ethic and be able to manage your time effectively, multi-task, have the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously. You must also work well under pressure as well as possess excellent trouble-shooting skills.
Be responsible for the setup and configuration of CCQ Technology Infrastructure and Assets.
