Based in the Woolloomooloo office, reporting to the Lead Recruitment Consultant, you will work across all areas of CCNSW including partnering closely with our regionally based teams. This role needs a proactive thinker, a natural collaborator and someone who genuinely enjoys working between the administration space and the relationship management space.

Your understanding of volunteers and the importance they play in an organisation, along with your customer service approach to internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:

  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to support volunteer recruitment, onboarding and exiting.
  • Managing the administrative functions for all volunteer recruitment, including advertising, maintaining volunteer databases, volunteer website, maintaining personnel files and conducting pre-employment checks
  • Supporting the Lead Recruitment Consultant to coordinate and administer the end-to-end recruitment process for employees including placement of advertisements, reference checking and generating employment contracts.
  • Becoming the subject matter expert for end-to-end recruitment for all volunteer recruitment needs
  • HR Administration support of all offer letters and contracts for paid employees
  • Leading the on-boarding of regular volunteers and paid employees
  • Adhoc HR admin support as and when required

As an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, to be set up for success in this role, you will need:

  • Experience delivering streamlined and centralised administration services
  • Demonstrated understanding of human resource practices, including recruitment and on-boarding
  • A demonstrated understanding of effective volunteer engagement and experience working with a volunteer workforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in database management and reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Competency in MS Office, including - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
