About the team

Based in our Woolloomooloo office reporting to the Marketing Manager, Loyalty, the role of Marketing Coordinator sits in the Marketing & Fundraising Division.

The Fundraising Division is responsible for income generation through the channels of Campaigns, Direct Marketing, Bequests, Partnerships and Major Gifts.

About the role

The purpose of this role will be to provide support to the Marketing Manager- Loyalty, by working on execution and administration of the loyalty program. This position will liaise with external and internal service providers to develop effective direct marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Liaise and support briefing of external suppliers (printers, agencies, mailing houses) for the execution of direct marketing (predominately, direct mail and email) campaigns
  • Liaise with internal suppliers (Donor Support Services, Data Analytics Unit and Research Unit) for creative sign off and campaign requirements.
  • Liaise with direct marketing agency to ensure accountabilities are delivered on time
  • Manage invoice processing across the loyalty program.
  • Proof copy, printing proofs and review campaign lives.
  • Data checking for appeals and supporter servicing communications

About you?

Well-developed interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be essential, along with:

Essential

  • Excellent attention to detail and solid analytical capabilities
  • Proven project management skills and outstanding organisational abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiations skills
  • High level of competence with Excel

Desirable

  • Experience or tertiary qualifications in direct marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of what works in direct mail appeals
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and grow established programs.
  • Understanding of the principles of database and customer relationship management
  • Experience of interpreting and acting upon complex data reports
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation systems.
