Based in Frenchs Forest, CCNB is one of the largest community-led organisations in the Northern Sydney Region, providing independent and impartial information, advice and guidance services to older people, those with dementia, people with disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness as well as those with complex health care needs. We work with people, their families and communities through a range of programs and services.

About the role

In this full time role, you will use your motivation for community engagement to support new and existing community programs with program planning and preparation, coordination of activities and social media communications and invitations to CCNB customers and potential customers.

You will develop and maintain regular activities and contribute to enhancing programs and review the effectiveness of the programs in achieving their outcomes.

You will have

  • Demonstrated experience in program development and delivery
  • Experience in event management, planning and delivery as well as creative programming
  • Exposure to working with volunteers and or volunteer coordination
  • Capacity to effectively deliver within budgetary requirements
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including consultation, openness, fairness, flexibility, liaison and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a highly customer-focused environment
  • Experience in working within a flexible, multi-skilled team with advanced interpersonal, communications and customer service skills
  • Superior/excellent digital communication skills, in particular social media, online events management
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite products, social media platforms and CRM software
  • Proven ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision
  • Capacity to manage workflow and prioritise issues
  • Unrestricted right to work in Australia
