Team Leader - Family Mental Health Support Services - Shepparton

The aim of FMHSS is to provide flexible, responsive options for families, carers, children and young people impacted by mental illness or are at risk of developing mental illness.

The FMHSS program provides intervention and support to these people through strength – based and early intervention strategies that are holistic and family centred. CatholicCare Victoria as a service arm of CCVT will deliver the program.

This role has responsibility for providing leadership across the team, to ensure that reporting requirements are met and services are provided to a professional standard which meets that needs of the client target group.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Provide positive team leadership and individual staff support and supervision.
  • Support team members to effectively meet, and accurately report on, their clients and service output targets.
  • Contribute effectively to the evaluation of program data.
  • Participate in the regional leadership team.

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Youth Work, Counselling or relevant discipline.
  • Experience and qualifications in leading teams and providing high quality clinical supervision.
  • Experience in program development, planning, monitoring, reporting and assessing performance requirements.
  • Knowledge of mental health issues and social support service practice.
