The aim of the ParentsNext pre-employment program is to assist parents with young children to plan and prepare for employment once their youngest child reaches school age. This program provides intervention and support through strengths – based and early intervention strategies that are holistic and family centred.

The successful applicant will have knowledge about the causes and consequences of unemployment and an understanding of current social issues and challenges faced by families. The ParentsNext Case Manager is responsible for assisting a caseload of clients to undertake activities consistent within their Participation Plan.
