This is an opportunity for a dynamic woman to coordinate the services, programs, operations and administration of the Peninsula Women’s Health Centre - the Woy Woy outreach centre of the Central Coast Community Women’s Health Centre.

The primary purpose of this senior position is the coordination of women’s health community services and programs at the Peninsula Women’s Health Centre (PWHC) in alignment with the organisational objectives of CCCWHC.

The Centre Coordinator leads the provision of a diverse, holistic suite of services that meet the health and social welfare needs of women. Programs and services are provided using a trauma informed, person centred feminist approach.

This is a leadership position, both at PWHC and within CCCWHC and has the support of a broader team of workers across all three Centre’s. The Centre Coordinator is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team working on special projects and, providing guidance and support to other staff and volunteers.

Coordinator tasks include those related to, centre coordination, supervision of a team of Volunteers, Childcare Workers and support of the on-site Counsellor, administration, building management, service development, community development, advocacy and referral, networking, community education and social action.

Key role requirements include an understanding of the social model of health and the intersection of feminist principles, community, program and service development experience, excellent administrative, computer, interpersonal, supervisory and organisational skills as well as initiative and enthusiasm.

Employment Conditions and Rate of Pay:

Permanent part-time position. Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level 6. Salary packaging is available to eligible successful applicants.
