Centacare Catholic Country SA is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary social services organisation based in regional South Australia. CCCSA operates within the Diocese of Port Pirie, and delivers a broad suite of social services in a ‘place-based’ delivery model, from 11 sites across 4 sub-regions with offices in six communities – Port Pirie, Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Ceduna and Coober Pedy. CCCSA also provides substantial outreach to remote communities within its footprint.

The Role

As a senior employee of Centacare Catholic Country SA, the incumbent will be committed to maintaining and upholding the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.

With an annual turnover of around $16m and a staff of 160, our agency has grown to a point where executive level corporate leadership is required, to support the Chief Executive Officer in leadership of the organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Manager Corporate will lead the corporate services people and functions of CCCSA to deliver high quality services through the development and implementation of efficient and effective systems and processes and the application of high-level strategic oversight in areas of responsibility. The corporate services of CCCSA currently comprises three business units:

  • Finance and Payroll
  • People and Culture (HR, Quality, WHS, Training, Infrastructure)
  • ICT

Who Should Apply

Applications are encouraged from experienced corporate executives with a degree in accounting or other relevant business or finance related field. Other relevant degree-level qualifications may be considered, if these are supported by demonstrated extensive experience in a corporate services role with evidence of strong financial management experience.

Experience in Rural and Remote locations will be highly regarded.

High levels of communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to deal with all levels of government and community leadership, including the leadership of Aboriginal communities, are essential qualities for this position.

Specifics

This position is based in Whyalla, South Australia. Other sites within the organisational footprint may be considered. Remuneration will reflect your qualifications and experience. Salary packaging and salary sacrifice is available.

Appointment is subject to the outcome of a DHS Working with Children Check (or valid DCSI Child Related Screening) and a current driver’s license is essential. The position will require intra- and interstate travel.
