Corruption and Crime Commission

Do you want to see your contribution come to life at work? Are you most fulfilled when connecting with people to solve problems? Are you seeking challenging and meaningful work?

We are seeking someone who understands the complexities of an integrity agency and whose values align with ours - Integrity, Relationships with Others, Accountability, Leadership, and Teamwork.

This is an opportunity to work across projects that intersect with corporate and operational requirements such as our workforce strategy and business continuity planning.

This is a five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months.

Part-time arrangements will be considered.

THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector.

The Corporate Services directorate ensures the delivery of high quality corporate support services to the Commission. This includes the effective and efficient delivery of human resources, financial services, information technology services, information and knowledge management, occupational safety and health compliance, and security and facilities services.

The design principals that underpin our service delivery include diversity of people and work; streamlining processes and systems; empowering our team and the broader Commission; acting as trusted partners and collaborators; and ensuring that the fundamentals of corporate services provision are well designed, implemented and maintained.

THE OPPORTUNITY

With minimal supervision, the Project Manager will manage a range of complex and sensitive projects including planning, compliance, reporting, policy and research. You will support the Director of Corporate Services with strategic advice to the Corporate Executive on critical organisational matters, and provide best practice expertise in governance, evaluation, risk management, performance and public sector management. Additionally, you will facilitate internal and external relationships and effective stakeholder engagement and customer service on projects, and contribute to reports, guidelines and policies, and broader public sector issues relevant to the Commission.

The Commission offers a well-resourced workplace with genuine work life balance. You will be well supported, well trained and have access to flexible working hours.

If you are currently a permanent WA public service officer, a right of return to the WA public sector may apply (see attachment 'Right of return provision of public service officers' for further information).

The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process.

The Commission is an equal opportunity employer and encourages people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and persons from culturally diverse backgrounds to apply.
