Centre Against Violence is a community-based organisation that provides sexual assault services, therapeutic treatment services for children/young people with problem/abusive sexual behaviours, family violence crisis, accommodation and support services and restorative justice services for people living in Ovens Murray district. We engage in our work utilising feminist philosophy, trauma models, strengths based approaches and a client focused position.

About the position

• EFT: Full time
• Location: Wangaratta
• Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent
• Experience: Required minimum 2 years in the human services field, however, new graduates eligible to apply
• Registrations: Professionals are registered with their peak body e.g. AASW
• Child Safe: Working with Children Check and National Police Check requiredSalary and conditions will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. Pay point will be negotiated according to qualifications and experience.Some above award conditions are applied.
