We currently have some exciting opportunities to join us at the Centre Against Violence within the Sexual Assault Services team. You will provide specialist counselling to children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual assault and to their support people. The role will also include the provision of therapeutic services and intervention to children and young people who engage in harmful sexual behaviours.

The Centre Against Violence are a leading community-based organisation offering a comprehensive suite of services to clients and the community across the Ovens & Murray district. We provide specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services and have offices in both Wangaratta & Wodonga, providing outreach services to smaller towns in the district.

The successful candidates will have a strong understanding of the personal and community issues surrounding sexual assault, family violence and complex interpersonal trauma. Tertiary qualification e.g. Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent Eligibility for registration with their peak body e.g. AASW Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check required Our staff benefits include, above award conditions, generous professional development, salary packaging and flexible working arrangement.
