Our client is a national not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering Australian people who are impacted by dementia.

Established in Australia over 35 years ago, this inspirational organisation serves as the national peak body for people impacted by this disease and provide information, education and support services, advocating for positive change and support vital research.

ROLE

Our client’s corporate partnerships program requires a full time Partnerships Specialist to re-invigorate and drive growth in their SME portfolio, whilst developing and nurturing key relationships for fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

Reporting to the National Community and Campaigns Manager - and can be based in North Ryde NSW, Parkville Victoria or Woolloongabba Qld - you will be tasked with managing their current corporate partners and sponsors, liaising with key stakeholders to build the pipeline, driving income and growth of their workplace giving program to expand the work to help deliver their services and research.

This is an excellent opportunity to use and build on your fundraising/revenue generation skills working with a very supportive team to drive corporate partnership acquisition together with the leadership team. This opportunity is ideal for a capable, passionate and resilient individual with demonstrated experience in acquisition and managing mutually beneficial relationships who can ensure effective relationship management is maintained at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide input to strategic direction and implement across all areas of corporate partnership, workplace giving and fundraising initiatives & activities.
  • Effectively drive corporate strategy for multiple channels nationally, exercising best practice fundraising knowledge.
  • Manage relationships, maximising engagement and fundraising opportunities using online fundraising platforms to leverage opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase ’s brand awareness and engagement both with internal and external communities.
  • Execute superior relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, representing the client where required.
  • Plan work and prioritise in order to achieve targets and administer program effectively and accurately.
  • Provide support to the broader team where required.
  • Set high standards and report against budgets

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Previous experience preferably in a fundraising position in a not-for-profit environment.
  • A passion for achieving growth targets, with a demonstrated history of success in building revenue in a not-for-profit or commercial environment.
  • Extremely committed to delivering the highest quality of service to clients, preferably with experience of driving revenue from a broad corporate engagement portfolio.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop trust and maintain flourishing working relationships
  • High level of resilience, maturity and ability to show empathy with a hard work ethic.
  • Highly professional and articulate, with a genuine passion for the organisation
  • A driver’s license is preferred due to the nature of the role but not essential.
