Safe Choices forms part of the continuum of support services available to the Tasmanian community through Tasmania’s Family Violence Action Plan 2015-2020: Safe Home, Safe Families initiatives.

Your Role:

  • Provide case work including case planning services to clients affected by Family Violence who require ongoing support (including outreach)
  • Work alongside the Safe Choices Assessment Worker and report to the Manager, Safe Choices

What you bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in Family Violence Support and an understanding of the needs of individuals who have experienced varied types of trauma
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant disciplines
  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable Persons
