Your Role:

The Counselling and Therapeutic Services Coordinator is a senior practitioner/counselling role, having experience and skills in a range of counselling skills and modalities including family therapy, relationship counselling, trauma informed and psycho dynamic therapies. The primary purpose of this role is to provide clinical supervision and leadership to the Family, Therapeutic and Counselling services practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing leadership, line management & clinical supervision to ensure a positive team environment and facilitate ongoing professional development
• Actively participate in meetings and undertake professional development
• Carry a small caseload of clients if required

What you bring to the role:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• 5 years minimum post graduate clinical experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in social work or psychology required; Post graduate or other further training in family therapy, educational assessment of children and adolescents, and child inclusive practice will be highly regarded.
• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable Persons
