CatholicCare NT is a Catholic social service agency established in the Diocese of Darwin. We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands.
CatholicCare NT's Community Development Program (CDP) provides intensive case management support to address the needs of Aboriginal people who are unemployed to provide opportunities that lead to positive social and economic outcomes for families and their community. By creating employment opportunities in partnership with the local community, job seekers gain useful employability skills and meaningful qualifications through attendance in activities which increase job opportunities.
The CDP Team Leader and Case Manager will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of community projects in Santa Teresa. You will provide leadership and support to Work Experience Mentors and Activity Engagement Officer in the community, working together to facilitate appropriate training relevant to each activity. The CDP Team Leader and Case Manger will provide case management to jobseekers preparing them to be job ready for future employment.

This position is in Santa Teresa, an Arrernte indigenous community in the Northern Territory, Australia, located about 80 kilometres south-east of Alice Springs. This is not a FIFO role, living and working in a remote community is not for everyone, please consider this before applying.
