We are seeking a Program Assistant, Aboriginal Programs to work closely with the Head Curator Aboriginal Programs in the planning and delivery of the Carriageworks Aboriginal Programs, in particular the suite of SOUTHEAST programs planned for 2020 and early 2021.

The Program Assistant will work closely with Carriageworks artistic program and production teams to ensure that all program requirements are met to a high standard and that high-level outcomes are achieved for artists and partners. The Program Assistant will be responsible for producing contemporary multi-art works and engaging with the Solid Ground team in these projects. The key focus of this role will be upon assisting in the planning and delivery of the SOUTHEAST Aboriginal Arts Market, a major SOUTHEAST Aboriginal group exhibition with related programs, and an Indigenous food festival.

The SOUTHEAST program is Aboriginal-led and emerges from Carriageworks’ commitment to lead in the presentation of contemporary Aboriginal arts.
