We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated colleague to provide strategic, team and resource leadership in the Pacific region programs for Caritas Australia (CA). You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a remote team to develop and implement the Pacific strategy ensuring alignment with CA strategic direction.

About you

You will thrive as the Manager, Pacific Programs if:

  • You have significant experience in a managerial role in the international aid or community development sector
  • You are committed to long-term development
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills particularly in a cross-cultural environment
  • You are passionate about putting marginalised communities at the centre of our decision making

About your next role

You will be involved in:

  • Driving the development and implementation of Caritas Australia’s Pacific Program strategy
  • Support localisation of programs by working with partners to create sustainable organisations capable of achieving their local mandate
  • Overseeing the operational management of the overseas offices, safety & security, development, tracking and reporting of the group’s budget
  • Supporting and delivering program growth and development
