Let’s talk about you

You will thrive as the Helpdesk Officer if you have:

  • Over 12 months Experience in an IT Helpdesk and/or Helpdesk Officer role,
  • Certificate IV in Information Technology Support or above, other relevant Tertiary qualifications, or relevant Certification in Microsoft or CompTIA
  • An understanding of Virtualisation, Networking (LAN/WAN), and Information Security concepts.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff members at all levels of the organisation
  • An effective approach to problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in configuring and supporting telecommunication devices.

Let’s talk about your next role

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Manage the IT Helpdesk ticketing system, triaging tickets to resolve where possible and escalating when needed.
  • Support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, software and mobile devices to ensure stability, connectivity, and security for staff.
  • Supplement the Network and Systems Administrator role in build, rollouts and other duties as necessary.
  • Maintain up to date documentation of Helpdesk and Support related IT processes and procedures.
  • Perform end-user training and inductions.
