About the role

This critical role forms part of our busy People and Culture Learning and Development team. This is a great opportunity to ultimately oversee, design and develop learning and development programs and resources to meet identified needs, in an organisation committed to continuous improvement.

You will ready to step up and lead a dynamic and skilled group of L&D practitioners. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Culture and Employee Experience, your day to day will consist of:

  • Driving the implementation of a new Learning and Development Approach for the organisation supporting the delivery of both compulsory and identified organisational training
  • Applying adult learning principles and approved resources to coordinate and deliver internal learning programs;
  • Determining training objectives and developing training strategies by liaising with key stakeholders;
  • Conducting training needs analysis to create and implement training plans and programs;
  • Analysing and reporting on the effectiveness of learning and development programs to meet the business needs of the organisation and licensing requirements.

About you

Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent people and communication skills, you have experience in a similar role, or at similar level.

  • You will have a qualification in adult learning or education, and an accreditation in specific programs delivered would be an advantage;
  • You have experience coordinating and delivering training across a diverse range of occupational or content-related areas;
  • You possess experience working in eLearning software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline or similar;
  • You have experience working with a Learning Management System.
