Proudly celebrating our 25th year, Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations. Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental illness, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol, or other drug issue or who are frail aged.
Carers WA is currently seeking a highly driven and motivated Media and Communications Officer to join our dynamic marketing team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Systems Development, our successful candidate will help lead the delivery of internal and external communications, including the development and coordination of a broad range of targeted media and communication activities. The position will be required to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to develop and implement media and communications strategies with an aim to increase engagement and outcomes for the organisation.
