Carers WA are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join our team within the role of Admin and Respite Support Officer.
Working as an integral member of the Finance and Respite team and acting as a point of contact for carers utilising our respite facilities, this is a rewarding role for an individual truly looking to make a difference.
Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia. Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental illness, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.
Carers WA is the lead Regional Delivery Partner in Western Australia for the new Carer Gateway and Integrated Carer Support Services (ICSS), funded by the Department of Social Services. Working closely with the Finance Team this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced and motivated professional to draw on their excellent administration, coordination, and customer service experience.
The key deliverables of this role include providing the Finance Team with superior administration support and assistance in preparing our roster and respite booking system. We are looking for someone who is passionate about assisting our carers with their daily needs, has great creativity and strives to ensure our carers have personalised lifestyle activities that suit their interests while they are staying.
