Carers Victoria is the peak agency for unpaid carers, we are passionate about leading change and action to improve the lives of carers by representing and supporting them. We connect carers with a range of state-wide services including support services, counselling, advisory and carer education to help carers navigate the different challenges they may face.
We are currently undergoing a restructure to align the organisation to meet new objectives and improve efficiencies. Carers Victoria has taken this action to adapt to the needs of carers and to continue representing and providing support to carers in Victoria. The Sector Development Officer works closely with the Sector Leadership function to drive the capability and capacity of the community services / social sector.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Your expertise will help develop and maintain productive working relationships with State-based carer agencies to enable a multi-disciplinary, cross-sector approach to Carers Victoria’s strategic direction. You will also represent Carers Victoria on relevant working groups, committees and advisory forums, providing advice and guidance on matters relating to carers.
