We connect carers with a range of state-wide services including support services, counselling, advisory and carer education to help carers navigate the different challenges they may face.

The Carer Support Advisory Manager is responsible for planning and leading the daily operations of the Carer Services Support function. The Carer Support Advisor Manager leads our Practice Leaders, who are responsible for a team of Carer Support Advisors and Counsellors, and the Team leader for Carer Operations Support, providing daily operational, practice leadership and human resources management of the service delivery teams.
Key aspects of the role include:
You have a keen understanding of the needs of carers in the community, a commitment to their rights and entitlements and high level of skill in carer advocacy. In addition, you are able to identify gaps and establish operational procedures, provide expert advice to other areas of the organisation and prioritise improvement activity. You have leadership skills and will be excited to represent Carers Victoria at external stakeholder meetings, working groups and consultations.
