Carers NSW is the peak body in NSW for carers of all ages and circumstances. We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting and empowering carers and improving their quality of life through support, referrals, capacity building and training.
As the new Carer Gateway Service Provider (CGSP) in Region 4 of NSW (Central Coast, Hunter New England and North Coast) we are excited to be growing our team and are looking for Carer Intake and Assessment Officers based in Newcastle or Coffs Harbour.
These positions are responsible for supporting carers through the Carer Support Planning Process including an intake, registration and needs assessment, support planning, coordination, support and monitoring to ensure carers can be holistically supported by understanding their needs and appropriately referring them for supports.
In addition, knowledge of the Central Coast, Hunter New England and North Coast (Region 4) will be highly regarded.
