Evaluation Lead, Research Program

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced evaluator to refine and implement our recently developed Research Impact Measurement Framework. This is a key role in our Research Team and will help us to identify and continue to fund high impact strategic research into heart disease.

With a strong understanding of both medical science or research and evaluation methodologies you will be responsible for:

  • Quantitative and qualitative monitoring, evaluation, and data management to assess the research program and inform its ongoing development.
  • Generating reports to demonstrate the impact of Heart Foundation funded research both retrospectively and in a way that can be easily tracked going forward in time
  • Preparing case studies showcasing the outcomes of funded research projects and the development of researchers and their teams.
  • Working with the research team to develop and implement an annual workplan including timelines and deliverables

About you

You will hold a tertiary qualification (or higher) in research, in either a health or medical science related field. Research evaluation qualifications would also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be experienced in research evaluation, data interpretation and developing and maintaining evaluation frameworks. The ability to manage and organise large volumes of data and information, as well as prioritising competing interests will be important for this role.

To succeed in this role, this person will showcase excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be an effective team-player with the ability to work autonomously.
