Our dedicated team provide specialist therapy to children and young people with physical disabilities, neuromuscular conditions, development delay and autism.

Work from our Brisbane South Therapy Centre

Due to internal growth, we offer this rare opportunity to lead our Brisbane South team of clinicians in the position of Service Centre Manager – Brisbane South. This opportunity is a full time permanent position at 38 hours per week.

Based at Darra and close to transport, the centre boasts a welcoming, modern, purpose built, spacious facility with extensive Resource Library, multiple therapy rooms and break-out areas for our staff and clients.

You will join a committed team of Service Centre Managers, who lead delivery of our services across South East Queensland. You will work effectively within this team and across the organisation to grow and advance Montrose’s services, and maximise the success of your team and your clients.

About the Role:

Lead a team of professional clinicians with an existing workplace culture of teamwork, client care, quality and safe service delivery and client service innovation. Foster a culture of high performance through excellent people management including performance development, coaching and mentoring, building leadership capability and supporting staff to maximise their health and wellbeing. Enjoy close relationships with your peers and wider management team across Montrose. Ensure the success of the Brisbane South Service Centre is maximised through your sound financial management and continued high quality services and relationships with Montrose clients. Your active community involvement will enable you to confidently develop and manage external stakeholder relationships with local schools, hospitals, and other disability providers and funding bodies.

We are aiming to commence the successful candidate immediately but are willing to negotiate if required.

It is essential you bring to the role:

  • Tertiary qualification in an allied health profession, business and or management, human services or other relevant field, and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Direct experience managing or supervising a clinical therapy team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the delivery of services to clients and exceed quality service expectations.
  • Financial skills including budgeting, monitoring performance, and the ability to forecast income and expenses
  • Demonstrated experience in applying human resource management strategies to manage and develop a team.
  • Ability to implement change and improvements to work practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • High levels of competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management systems, Salesforce experience would be advantageous.
  • Blue card and an NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Be an Australian or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a visa.
  • Provide a certificate of completion for the NDIS Worker Orientation Module and COVID-19 Infection Control training.
