We help unleash the talent of refugees in Corporate Australia while getting employers to realise meaningful diversity aspirations. We work with both mid-career professionals eager to reignite their career in Australia and university students seeking a pathway to graduate employment.
We are a pragmatic and professional organisation that achieves outstanding results both for participants and employers. We have an enviable rate of success with nearly 90% of participants in our programs securing ongoing professional employment, working with around 80 of Australia’s most well known employers.
We are looking for an program manager who is brilliant at their job and ready to leverage those skills to impact change across Australia’s leading employers.
This is a key leadership position at CareerSeekers, reporting to the CEO. You will create the strategy and, leading a team of seven, deploy the program to attract, recruit, develop and retain students into internship opportunities; manage and build upon our corporate, university and community relationships within Australia to support program growth and development; all while you drive tangible social impact and create self-determination within refugee and asylum seeker young adults at university.

This position is based in our Melbourne office. Some travel and extra hours are required as a normal part of the role.
Guidance on salary: as a non-profit social enterprise, our salaries are comparable to equivalent roles in the non-profit sector. Salary packaging benefits are available as well as bonus paid leave at Christmas (at dates determined by CareerSeekers).
Please note: this role requires regular, face-to-face interaction with participants and employment partners, including on sites with mandatory vaccination requirements. As such, only applicants fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 can be considered.
