We are a not-for-profit community organisation that delivers Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) & Certificate III in Community Services, and Certificate II in Cleaning.

This role is an opportunity for a motivated and organised Trainer and Assessor to operate within a small team. You will have the scope to manage your program independently whilst being supported by our administrative and training team.

We are seeking a passionate Trainer and Assessor who can network in the community and support and engage our culturally diverse client group.

• Pay follows the Educational (Post-Secondary Education Award) depending on qualifications and experience.
• As a Not-For-Profit organisation, we also provide the opportunity for Salary Packaging after 3 months (effectively increasing the hourly rate)
• 3-4 days per week (up to 5 if willing to travel to Gladstone x2 weekly)
• Opportunity to increase your own qualifications as part of employment (i.e no cost)
• Living in or near Rockhampton would be advantageous

Skills & Experience

• TAE40116 or equivalent (presently enrolled /aspiring trainers may be considered)
• Vocational qualification in aged care, disability and / or community services (opportunity also to increase your own qualifications)
• Own vehicle
• Prefer industry experience
