We are a not-for-profit community organisation that delivers the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program in Rockhampton.
This role is an opportunity for a motivated and organised teacher /trainer to operate within a small team. You will have the scope to manage your program independently (though working with the other onsite teacher) whilst being supported by our administrative and training team.
We are seeking a passionate person who can network in the community and support and engage our culturally diverse client group.
Many of our clients are disengaged from mainstream schooling.
The aim is to improve client literacy and numeracy skills towards improving their chances of gaining employment.
The position is initially casual at one-two days per week, also with opportunity to do assessments required for the SEE program
Salary range as per the Post Secondary Education Award in accordance with your qualifications and adult teaching experience.
Salary packaging is also available which effectively increases hourly rate.
