We have a fantastic opportunity for a Home Care Package - Budgeting Specialists to join our Client Financials team on a 6 month, max term contract as we roll out an improved payment arrangements system to our valued HCP clients. The Home Care Package - Budgeting Specialist liaises with the Department of Health and Human Services (Medicare) funding authority and reconciles data from our database with My Aged Care clients.

Areas of focus:

  • Establish and maintain client financials for individual HCP clients
  • Complete regular HCP budget reconciliations for clients
  • Manage and escalate HCP budget inquiries in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure HCPs budgets are implemented according to funding guidelines
  • Assist client facing teams maximise client HCP budget utilisation
  • Consistently identify ways to improve business processes and efficiencies

About you:

  • Strong communications skills, ability to convey complex messages in a simple and effective manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in client financial/budgetary roles - preferable
  • An ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills and an aptitude to learn new systems

Additional requirements

  • Minimum 2 X Covid 19 vaccination evidence is required to work from our National Office

  • A statutory declaration confirming residency in a country other than Australia. (An international police check/s may be required for non-residents.)
