About the role

We are looking for MCH nurses and Sleep and Settling Expert nurses to join our growing MCH Services. Supported and led by our experienced leadership team, our MCH team is passionate, driven and motivated, providing innovative, family centred, services to our diverse community. Our community is at the forefront of everything we do. As a MCH nurse you will apply your clinical skills and experience to our valued community, in modern facilities with opportunities for professional development and further training.

Our service is comprised of a dedicated Home Visiting program, a developing Sleep and Settling program, as well as the Enhanced MCH team, the Universal MCH team and the Smalltalk Supported Playgroups Team, with a highly supportive administration team.

About you

You will be a flexible and dynamic individual who enjoys the challenge and variety of working within a rapidly growing community with a mix of rural and metropolitan locations, and with families of a variety of backgrounds. You will also be someone who enjoys working in a team which adapts and innovates and has done so with great success during the recent most challenging times. Innovations are in response to the needs of the community, as well as the needs of the team.

To be part of Cardinia’s MCH success you will bring:

  • tertiary qualifications as a MCH Nurse
  • current registration with AHPRA as a a midwife and registered nurse
  • current Working with Children's Check
  • current driver’s license and have access to own vehicle
  • a positive, curious and flexible attitude
