Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled clinician who is excited about being part of our prison forensic services team and playing an integral part in the delivery of forensic Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services at Metropolitan Remand Centre, located in the Western suburbs.

The Role

The Care and Recovery Coordinator is responsible for meeting with newly remanded prisoners, providing them with Orientation or Prison Related Harm Reduction, provide screenings, IDU Reviews, Release Related Harm Reduction programs and other short-term psycho-ed programs to prisoners. Ideally, you will have a Cert IV in AOD or experience in the space.

This is a 3 days a week role (0.6 FTE) and is offered as a fixed term contract to 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension.
