Who we are looking for

The successful person should be skilled in database administration, filing of sensitive medical records, and be able to assist clinicians with their administration work. This person will not have contact with prisoners as part of their role, however will be required to work within prison settings and will therefore be required to adhere to all security measures and checks imposed by each location.

Do you have the skills to work as a part of a collaborative team? Do you have sound administration and computer skills? Do you have previous experience in electronic client records, databases and sensitive client information? If so, this may be the role for you!

Previous experience in healthcare or custodial settings will be viewed favourably.

The position

The position is offered as a fixed term contract to 30 June 2024, with possibility of extension if funding allows. The role is based at Grampians Regions Prisons (Hopkins Correctional Centre and Langi Kal Kal Prison).

The key purpose of the position is to provide direct administration support to the clinical team in a prison setting, primarily through the inputting of client information into the electronic database, and also assisting in the management of waitlists and maintenance of client and intervention records.
