About the role

The General Manager, Marketing, Social Impact and Growth is responsible for the Group’s marketing, fundraising and communications strategies based at Welland or our new state-of-the-art centre at Colonnades. The role will also have strategic and operational oversight of a portfolio of specialised Social Enterprise services that meet the needs of our partners, customers, clients, their families and the community.

As a member of the Senior Leadership team you will work in partnership to ensure the growth and development of our services, businesses, brand and reputation. In addition, a key focus of the role will be driving a performance culture with collective targets, and mentoring staff to build and enhance their capability.

About you

The role requires someone with:

  • High level strategic and analytical thinking;
  • Demonstrated people and business leadership skills;
  • Drive and vision to identify market gaps and opportunities, and develop innovative marketing strategies with your team;
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff and external stakeholders;
  • Strong financial management skills;
  • Knowledge of the South Australian Deaf Community, and fluency in basic Auslan skills – or willingness to develop;
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.

The salary for this role is commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition to the base salary, you can access generous salary packaging options that may significantly increase your take-home pay.
