About your opportunity

We are looking for a Program Coordinator to join the Research Governance and Optimal Care Unit. The Research Governance and Optimal Care Unit (RGOC) manages research grants and ethics policies and processes, clinical trials activities and optimal care pathways work. This is a full-time, fixed term 9 month contract position with the potential of extension. Specifically, your role is to:

  • Provide program delivery support to the Research Grants Coordinator and Clinical Trials Lead, and key secretariat support to the Human Research Ethics Committee
  • Coordinate annual reporting processes and maintain databases
  • Collaborate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

All about you

Ideally you will have an advanced diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience, combined with:

  • Experience in providing program support and ideally secretariat support to a Committee
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Well-developed writing skills and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and a solution-orientated approach
