About your opportunity

We are seeking an Office Manager to join the Strategy and Support Division. This role is integral to ensuring the successful operation of the Strategy and Support Division and provides an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with internal division staff and cross divisional colleagues including other Cancer Council Office Managers, Administration Coordinators, Corporate Services Division and the Office of the CEO. Reporting to the Business Manager your role is to:

  • Provide executive support to the Head of Division including day-to-day diary management, inbox management, drafting and editing high quality correspondence, presentations, and written reports
  • Offer strategic and administrative support for members of the Senior Leadership group
  • Coordinate and manage a range of division wide responsibilities and initiatives designed to strengthen and streamline cross divisional collaborative workings including administrative and operational systems and procedures.

All about you

We are looking for someone with:

  • A business/administration qualification or substantial relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting executive and senior leadership teams in a complex and challenging environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in an office environment providing administrative and/or project support to a variety of projects or programs including liaising with key stakeholders at a high level.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability effectively to facilitate relationships with stakeholders and other staff, including senior staff.
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying and solving problems, using initiative as well as the ability in managing time and prioritising tasks.
