In this role you will lead the development and implementation of statistical and epidemiological data analyses and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality outcomes to support the achievement of the Cancer Plan objectives.
You will lead and be a team player that thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and evolving landscape to support the delivery of high-quality cancer-related evidence and information to diverse stakeholders.
Essential to the role will be your ability to apply your strong statistical analysis skills to complex cancer treatment data sets. You will be required to develop methodologies that measure quality indicators, adapting existing methods in order to enable the Institute to provide accurate reporting on the quality of cancer care.
Whilst technically strong you will also have effective communication skills and the ability to translate and convey epidemiological concepts and nuanced results to your peers and non-technical stakeholders.
This role is based at the Cancer Institute NSW located at Eveleigh, however, the Ministry of Health will be relocating the Cancer Institute to St Leonards in mid-2020. The Cancer Institute NSW is unable to offer salary packaging. Salaries will be negotiated commensurate to experience and qualifications of the role.
