Recruitflex is a Not for Profit community based labour hire and recruitment organisation. We service many of Australia's largest NDIS, Community Care, Aged Care and Civil Construction organisations plus local governments. You will be responsible for the effective financial, commercial and payroll day to day functions of the business unit and assist in the financial efficiency in our provision of recruitment and labour hire services.

This role is based in Bateman’s Bay but could be based at any one of the Campbell Page/Recruitflex offices closest to you or we can offer flexible working from home options.

Key responsibilities:

The Payroll Officer is required to facilitate the Recruitflex payroll processing function including ensuring that workers are remunerated accurately and efficiently in compliance with relevant legislation, awards and National Employment Standards.

The role supports business development via commercial quotations, executes invoicing, oversees software management, provides for legislative & award interpretation, undertaking management and financial reporting including analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

The role will facilitate all financial and commercial functions associated with increasing Recruitflex revenue and revenue growth.

What you will do:

• Deliver a high level of customer service to all areas of the business, including casual on-hired employees, host employers, internal CP business units, external customers, clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure that the Recruitflex on hire payroll processing function is efficiently and effectively executed for both on hire employees and host employers.
• Effectively communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders from Recruitflex.
• Ensure a seamless and professional experience for candidates and host employers.
• Interpret Industrial Instruments and provide Human Resource coordination as required.
• Maintain robust data checks and audit processes to ensure accuracy of payroll and compliance to legislative requirements.
• Maintain payroll system database, run payroll and payroll reporting and reconciliations.
• Implement continuous improvement of systems and processes to improve the quality of products, services or processes.
• Provide various reports to management including budgetary, forecasts and financial reports.
• Assist Talent Acquisition Specialists with schedule quoting.
• Prepare and generate client invoices.
• Adherence to Recruitflex & Campbell Page policies and procedures.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated related experience in a similar payroll and processing position
• Time and Attendance system experience
• Sound understanding of Industrial Awards, National Employment Standards and experience in interpretation and application
• Knowledge of legislative requirements including PAYG, payroll tax, FBT obligations

• Experience in invoicing
• Experience in quoting
• Labour Hire industry experience is highly desirable.
