An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Insights Manager, to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney – to lead and manage the design, development, implementation, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence function to support organisational priorities in Campbell Page.

The role

Reporting to the Head of IT, the Business Insights Manager is responsible for managing and delivering strategic organisation wide initiatives that transforms how Campbell Page leverages data and enables business insights to increase program performance and customer experience.

This role will see you:

  • Managing a small team
  • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly Business Intelligence tasks are completed on time
  • Play a key role in program planning and execution, collaborating with senior stakeholders to align on strategy, goals and success criteria
  • Plan and manage scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and timing of initiatives
  • Provide a proactive analysis of trends and insights into the operations and business of the company provided to management
  • Complete ad-hoc data and reporting queries
  • Gather, extract and manipulate data from multiple databases and transform this data into ongoing reporting solutions & insights
  • Continually improve BI processes & procedures aligned with the needs of the organisation
  • Analyse, evaluate and report on customer behaviour, sector, market conditions and competitor performance to identify opportunities
  • Identify gaps and improvements in reporting to support contractual obligations and the organisation’s performance

To be awesome at this role, you will have: 

  • Experience delivering Data & Analytics projects across an enterprise environment (Ideally 5-7 years) across data-driven projects.
  • Experience leading/supervising people and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High-level knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
  • Enterprise-level knowledge of data management and or data governance frameworks.
  • Ability to document detailed product concepts in the context of user needs, business impacts, and technical requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills working with both technical and functional organisational groups.
  • Knowledge of employment services or businesses with structured and unstructured data (services preferred but not essential). 
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

If you have knowledge of SQL queries, databases and data modelling as well as developing Microsoft PowerApps and Employment Services industry experience, then we would love to hear from you!
