Our client has several not-for-profit entities as well as a number of profit-for-purpose companies under its auspices. They are actively involved in community development for a wide range of issues from homelessness and multiculturalism to the arts and youth civics. They offer assistance such as university scholarships and give support to schools as well as early childhood education centres. They are now seeking a hands-on and passionate Partnerships Manager to manage and nurture existing corporate and community relationships as well as evaluate new opportunities.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following;

• Evaluate existing partnerships and prioritise future efforts
• Build on strong existing partnership relationships previously established by the CEO and other managers
• You will be out in the community most of the time forging strong relationships with leaders and professionals across the community and the corporate sector
• Close internal liaison with the Marketing team and the board level Community Engagement Committee
• Liaise with organisations such as schools, universities, healthcare and large corporates
• Maintain relationships with donors and high net worth individuals
• Assist the marketing department with events and have an understanding of running events

The skills and attributes we are seeking include:

• Prior knowledge and experience in a similar Partnership Manager role
• Ability to grow existing relationships and partnerships
• Ability to present to corporate and community groups including PowerPoint presentations
• Business acumen with the ability to understand the corporate and donor community and evaluate new opportunities
• Cultural affinity with the Muslim community
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and superior organisational skills
