Cam Can provides individualised, innovative and flexible support arrangements for people who have a disability so that they can pursue a lifestyle of their choice in the community.

We are seeking someone to support and mentor a lovely young lady who lives independently with her partner in Gosnells, Perth Metro. This person would be providing guidance, encouragement and emotional support to build on her daily living skills living, connection to the community and overall well-being.

The position would ideally suit a female who is patient and kind with excellent communication and relationship building skills. An upbeat individual who enjoys cooking, movies and walking. Also desirable is an understanding of mental health but is not essential. Hours would be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights from 6-9pm.

Previous experience of working with people with disabilities is not required, but a willingness to learn and grow in this role is essential.

You will also have:

  • Full Class C Drivers licence
  • Road worthy vehicle
  • Current police clearance - working with vulnerable people or willingness to obtain one
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • A good level of physical fitness
