The Team Leader of Alcohol and Drug, Family Violence Case Management and Counselling teams, oversees the daily delivery of client services to ensure that each child, young person, adult or family is provided with a client centred response and service that aligns with best practice, relevant program guidelines and program funding agreements. The Team Leader role provides line management and supervision within the program to all staff, and actively manages risk, case discussion and referrals through regular team meetings, consultations and peer discussions.

The Team Leader role actively participates and engages with key stake holders and funding bodies to ensure collaborative and client centred services are delivered. This position will actively participate in program development initiatives that included key stakeholder feedback, program evaluation and co design of models informed by the lived experience of our clients.

What’s required? 

• Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or a related field.
• Experience in a clinical leadership role.
• High level knowledge and experience of relevant clinical frameworks and theories that support best practice.
• Experience in working collaborative with service stakeholder and partners using an advocacy approach.
• Experience in service design and development.
• Experience in specialist family work.
• Experience in facilitating the development of clinical teams.
• Current Victorian Drivers licence and Working with Children Check.
