At Cafs we are all about helping children, young people and their families. The PASDS role aims to access and assist parents of vulnerable infants and children involved with child protection to develop their skills, knowledge and capacity to safely care for and nurture their children.
This specialised role provides intensive parenting services for parents and children involved with child protection. This role undertakes specialised assessments to review and support the health, development, safety and wellbeing of infants up to the age of 2 years.
Diploma level or higher in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Family Therapy, Psychology, or related tertiary discipline.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experience practitioner to join our team. This challenging but rewarding role will be well suited to someone who is an advocate for children, with a passion for supporting parents and families.
You will enjoy building relationships with families, DHHS and other agencies and have proven experience in this area. This role isn’t always easy, but you will have an experienced and passionate team supporting you along the way.
